[The camera blurs softly into focus, directed at a woman with red hair and a sky blue dress. The room is minimalist, walls and floor similar shades of white, and features no furniture save the understated red throne on which the woman sits. With her hands folded delicately in her lap and her legs crossed daintily at the ankle, the woman smiles warmly into the camera.]Good dayvening, my sweet Oysters! I'm here with the results of all of our competitions. You all did so very well, my dears, you're true sportsoysters!
First of all, I want to congratulate all of you on your accomplishments! Whether you won or lost, we could tell you gave it your all, and we could not be more proud of all of you. Your favourite desserts and delicacies will be served in the Pig and Pepper today, as a treat for all your hard work. With that said, let us announce the winners!
In archery, our winner was Lan Xichen! In chess, Crowley took top spot. Our dear Wu Xie bested croquet. Oh — oh, what a bother, we have two Wei Wuxians and Lan Wangji's who've won! How shall I tell you both apart... I know! The taller Wei Wuxian came first in diving, the smaller in artistic swimming. As for the Lans Wangji, our first guest made the most beautiful ice sculpture, and the comparatively newer arrival had quite simply the loveliest gymnastics routine. Rounding us out in flamingo flying and ice skating are the lovely Mikumo Guynemer and Jet Link respectively. Congratulations to all the winners!
You'll be receiving a little something from us in your rooms shortly.
And that's not the end of things just yet! We have two more Oysters to recognize today.
Sessyoin Kiara, best overall competitor, and Meng Yao, best spectator, both did themselves proud in our games. No one had quite the spirit in the stands that Meng Yao had, and Sessyoin Kiara truly gave it her all when competing. These two have won a short audience with one of our representatives, in appreciation of their efforts on behalf of the Hotel.
With that, we conclude these games. Thank you ever so, our lovely Oysters, for elevating these games beyond our imaginings. We only regret the presence of one bird of prey amongst you poor defenseless Oysters, thoughtlessly ruining good things for others.
[Her smile has faded into an expression of regret, as though this was not the note she wished to end on. She rallies herself once more. Her smile returns, hopeful in nature.]We hope the lessons we teach in the coming days are the last we have to impart for some time.
Have a wonderful dayvening, Oysters!
